New Zealand batter Devon Conway who used to shine with the bat in almost every cricket appearance was now under a Great Depression after their family lost their unborn child.

The news was confirmed by his lovable wife Kim Watson via her official Instagram handle. New Zealand cricketer Devon Conway ties the knot with his long-time girlfriend Kim Watson in South Africa on April 11, 2022.
The couple were together for a long time before getting into the marriage life. Devon Conway and Kim Watson got engaged on July 23, 2020.
Notably, Devon Conway was playing in the IPL 2022 for CSK at that time but Devon left the bio bubble and went to South Africa for his wedding. The family met with a tragic incident who were expecting their first child.
In her Instagram handle she wrote “I’m not one to be public about my personal life but it’s something I know I’m not the only one who has gone through the tough times of a miscarriage but I don’t want to feel ashamed or embarrassed about it but rather open to talking about my experience and feelings so that I could be there for the next woman going through the heartbreak! We will have our miracle one day and we will love them with everything”

Devon Conway who was part of the New Zealand Test squad for the South Africa series is expected to return home to be with his family. In the first test which New Zealand won comfortably by 281 runs, Conway scored 1 and 29 runs in the 1st and 2nd innings of the 1st Test.
The second Test match of the series will be played between February 13 to 17 at Seddon Park, Hamilton. Though there were no official announcements regarding his status for the 2nd test, the left-hander is expected to skip the match.
