Deshpande Reveals MS Dhoni, Jadeja Conversation

Chennai Pacer Tushar Deshpande has revealed the hilarious conversation between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja during the IPL 2024 match between CSK and KKR on April 08.

During the 17th over of CSK’s chase, Jadeja played a prank on the crowd as he started to walk out after Shivam Dube’s dismissal by Vaibhav Arora. Jadeja showed a glimpse of entering the ground to bat but went back inside the dugout.

Only after that, MS Dhoni came out which made the crowd cheer for him at the Chepauk. Deshpande talked about how Dhoni and Jadeja planned the epic prank.

“He told Jaddu bhai ‘You go out, but I will go out to bat’. I heard that,” Deshpande said in a video. Jadeja, named the Player of the Match, said that the audience present at the venue in Chennai was waiting to see MS Dhoni on the field.

Wo sirf apna ek jhalak dikhaya to unke lie ticket ka paisa vassool ho jaega (If the crowd gets a glimpse of Dhoni, they will get their money’s worth),” Jadeja said.

Jadeja had one of the crucial roles during CSK’s victory in 7 wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders. The left-arm spinner finished with a three-wicket haul in four overs he bowled.

He picked up the wickets of Sunil Narine, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Venkatesh Iyer to collapse the KKR’s batting lineup.

CSK chased the target of 138 with 14 balls to spar. Ruturaj Gaikwad was impressive with 67* runs on 58 deliveries with 9 fours. Daryl Mitchell and Shivam Dube handed a decent knocks of 25 and 28 to help the side recover from defeats from the last two matches.

Currently, CSK has secured fourth position in the IPL 2024 points table and will be playing their next match against Mumbai Indians on April 14 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
