David Warner’s Double Century Creates Multiple Records
Australian opening batter David Warner reaches various milestones and creates history during his 100th Test match.
The Australia vs South Africa 2nd Test will be his 100th Test appearance. While every player tries to make their 100th game memorable, Warner struck an impressive double century in his 100th test appearance and etched his name in the record book.
During the South Africa tour of Australia, both teams are scheduled to play 3 tests and 3 ODIs between December 17 to January 17 next year. The posts Australia already won the first match and leads the series.
The second Test of the series started on December 26, after winning the toss Australia opted to bowl first. South Africa struggled to score runs in their first inning as Aussies bowlers restrict them from making a partnership.

Warner scored his double century with a boundary during the 77th over of the inning by Lungi Ngidi. Post the double century, Warner retired hurt after having a cramp. Cameron Green too retired hurt after scoring 6 runs. at the end of day 1 Australia scored 386 runs for 3 wickets loss.
