    David Warner to Play for Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League

    The former Australia cricketer David Warner is set to make his maiden appearance in the Pakistan Super League and will play for Karachi Kings.

    David Warner, being the run-scoring spree in the ongoing BBL 2024-25 season was among the 44 players in the platinum draft for PSL 2025. Warner scored 324 runs in eight innings at an average of 54.

    He smashed three half-centuries for Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League. Warner also participated in the IPL 2025 mega auction but went unsold at Jeddah.

    Warner’s base price in the IPL 2025 auction was INR 2 crore. He has played for Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad played 184 matches and scored 6565 runs including four centuries and 62 half centuries.

    Meanwhile Kane Williamson has gone unsold in the Platinum round. While he is not the best in the shortest format, his experience boasts up battin line up, expecially in the anchor role.

    Williamson is currently engaged in the ongoing SA20 2025 for Durban Super Giants and made 60 runs off 40 balls in his first match against Pretoria Capitals in Durban.

    Despite being unsold in Platinum, he might make his inclusion in the Diamond round to see if any franchise is still interested in him.

    Meanwhile Adam Milne was sold to Karachi Kings, while Mark Chapman went to Quetta Galdiators, while Lahore Qalandars roped in New Zealand middle order Daryl Mitchell after his strong performances in Pakistan.

    The 10th season for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to run from April 08 to May 19 2025 with lots of season internationals, emerging talents and retained stars.
