First NZ Player to Score World Cup Century Against India: Daryl Mitchell achieved this massive milestone during the 21st match of ICC Men’s DI World Cup 2023 scheduled to be played on October 22 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala.

Though New Zealand lost wickets on one end, Daryl Mitchell on the other end made a strong stand and scored 130 runs in 127 deliveries and made a massive contribution in New Zealand’s 273 runs score.

Mohammed Shami who played his first game of the tournament turned out to be the crucial bowler for the team India in the game. Shami bagged 5 wickets in 10 overs by spilling 54 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav bagged a couple of wickets while Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj each bagged 1 wicket. India needs to score 274 runs in 50 overs to register their 5th victory of the tournament. The victory will move India towards the top position in the Points Table.
