The Cricket West Indies Board has announced the Men’s U-19 squad for the upcoming World Cup which is set to start on January 19.
Men’s ICC U-19 West Indies World Cup squad
The West Indies board has named Stephan Pascal as the captain of the U-19 squad for the upcoming U-19 World Cup.
West Indies has played 10 matches in the World Cup 2022 where they won four matches. They played their last match against Zimbabwe where they won the match by 8 wickets.
ICC U19 Men’s World Cup 2024
U19 Men’s World Cup 2024 Schedule: Ahead of the tournament the teams will play warmup games between January 13 to January 17.
A total of 16 teams will participate in the ICC U19 Men’s World Cup 2024 where a total of 41 games will be played across 5 different venues in South Africa.
Initially, Sri Lanka was the host nation but later it was shifted to South Africa due to the suspension of the International Cricket Council (ICC) over the Sri Lanka Cricket Board.
With 12 teams having announced their squad for the World Cup Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka are yet to announce their squad for the ICC events.
