The Western Australian cricketer Corey Rocchiccioli has picked a split innings hat-trick during the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria where the hosts won the match 8 wickets.
The off-spinner wrapped up Victoria’s first innings by removing Peter Siddle and completed the hat trick by dismissing opener Ashley Chandrasinghe and Campbell Kellaway in his first two deliveries.
Earlier this month, Brody Couch became the first West Australian to pick a Sheffield Shield hat-trick helping the reigning champions to secure an innings victory over Tasmania in Hobart.
Corey Rocchiccioli finished the match with a figures of 5/162 as Victoria chased down the 120-run target with eight wickets in hand.

Marcus Harris and Peter Handscomb both peeled off fifties during the chase, combining an unbeaten 103-run partnership for the third wicket.
Western Australia was bowled out for 325, with WK Joel Curtis cracking his maiden FC century, an unbeaten 119 that featured 17 boundaries.
Meanwhile victorian seamer Sam Elliott claimed 4/47 while Fergus O’Neill bagged three wickets. Rocchiccioli continues his excellence to become Nathan Lyon’s replacement for next year’s test tour of Sri Lanka, heaping pressure on Todd Murphy.
The Corey Rocchiccioli has been considered as Lyon’s successor since last year’s Border Gavaskar Trophy campaign in India, but Rocchiccioli’s recent performances has given selectors think about him.
West Australia will be facing South Australia at Adelaide Oval from Saturday.
