After being released by Gujarat Titans ahead of the auction the pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been bought by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for a price of INR 10.75 crore on the second day of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
During the 2024 season, he has featured in seven matches for GT where he picked 8 wickets at an average of 26.25 and an economy rate of 10.00. His form and the team’s overall performance have resulted in him being benched for the rest of the games.

Bhuvenshwar Kumar has a vast experience in IPL has played 176 matches in his IPL career and also took 181 wickets with an average of 27.23 conceding nearly 7.56 runs per over.
He was the purple cap winner for the 2016, 2017 and played a pivotal role in SRH’s maiden IPL triumph in 2016.
