Bhuvneshkumar bags the wickets of Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis during the IPL 2024 match played between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 08 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
His spell was impressive in the powerplay dismissing two dangerous batters and helping the side aim for a low-target chase.

Coming to the match, Lucknow won the toss and opted to bowl where KL Rahul and de Kock opened the innings. Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed de Kock for 2 runs in the 3rd over and picked the wicket of Marcus Stoinis for 3 runs in the fifth over.
This helped Hyderabad to put up more pressure against Lucknow batters. On the other hand, Pat Cummins dismissed KL Rahul for 29 runs by the end of the 10th over where Lucknow scored only 57 runs. Nicholas Pooran Came to bat where he helped the side to revive from early dismissals.
The middle-order batsman Krunal Pandya was sent out on a run-out for 24 runs in the 12th over. Ayush Badoni joined hands with Pooran to score a partnership run of 99. Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran‘s last stand with 55* and 48* runs helped the side to score 165 runs in 20 overs.
With the target of 166 runs, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma opened the innings where they went to score 107 runs by the end of power play. Travis Head scored 50 in 16 deliveries while Abhishek Sharma also smashed fifty in pursuit of a quick victory in the match.
Travis Head scored 89* runs in 30 deliveries while Abhishek Sharma scored 75* runs in 28 deliveries. Both had a 250+ Strike rate in the match. Finally, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 167 runs in the 10th over and won the match by 10 wickets.
