    The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) signs SBI Life Insurance as one of the official partners for domestic and international home matches for 2023-2026.

    The 3-year deal with SBI Life will begin with the upcoming three matches ODI series against Australia scheduled to start on September 22.

    ACC, Hyuandai and Dream11 were the three associate sponsors in the last cycle. They together paid Rs 222.74 Cr between 2019-23. While it is still unclear how much SBI Life will be paying per match, BCCI has filled the first slot with the IND vs AUS series.

    Mr Roger Binny, President, BCCI said: “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with SBI Life as the official partner of BCCI for both domestic and international cricket. SBI Life has been one of the torchbearers in the insurance sector and we are looking to build a solid partnership to take Indian cricket forward.”

    The first game of the Australia tour of India 2023 will begin with an ODI game on September 22 at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.

    The Australia tour of India 2023 will be played in two sets where the ODI series will be played before the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The 5-match T20I series of the Australia tour of India 2023 will resume after the World Cup 2023 completion.

    The 3-match ODI series will lay a foundation for team India in their preparation for the ODI World Cup 2023.
