BCCI announced squads for the upcoming ODI and T20I series in the Australia women’s tour of India 2024.
India’s Women squad for home tour 2024
After suffering a loss in the three-match T20I series England women’s tour of India 2023, Harmanpreet Kaur-led India side will be preparing for the upcoming home tour against Australia. Smriti Mandhana will serve as deputy for the Upcoming home tour.
But, Indian women in Blues have won back-to-back Test wins against England and Australia respectively. Regular players such as Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh, and Pooja Vastrakar are part of the squad.
India carries two wicketkeepers Yastika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh in the squad. The latter impressed recently in her debut at the Wankhede.
Both sides will be playing their ODI series between December 28 and January 02 while the T20I series will be played between January 5-9. All the ODI matches will be played in Wankhede Stadium while T20I matches will be played in DY Patil Stadium.
