BANW vs SAW Playing 11: Nigar Sultana-led Bangladesh is scheduled to play in the 16th match of the women’s T20 World Cup 2024 schedule against Laura Wolvaardt-led South Africa on October 12 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
South Africa will be looking for a huge win in the clash for a semi-final spot while Bangladesh will be also looking for a win to stay alive in the playoffs competition.
Bangladesh women Won the toss and opted to bat. While speaking after the toss, Nigar Sultana said, “We want to bat first. It is a great opportunity for the team to bounce back. We started off with a win, but couldn’t continue the momentum. We have one change today.”
Meanwhile, Laura Wolvaardt said, “We are happy to have a bowl, we were in two minds coming into this game. So much cricket still left to be played in the group, we just need a win and I have full confidence we can do that today. World Cups brings out the best in every cricketer and I am happy I am able to contribute. No changes for us.”
