Nigar Sultana-led Bangladesh women have smashed 119 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs with Shobana Mostary and Shathi Rani’s impressive run in their innings during the first Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 at Sharjah.
Meanwhile, Saskia Horley picked three wickets for Scotland helping the side to restrict Bangladesh women for 119 runs.

Batting first Shathi Rani and Sobhana in the top order made an impressive stand after the dismissal of Murshida Khatun for 12 runs.
Scoring 29 and 36 runs Shathi Rani and Sobhana Mostary were sent out by Katherine Fraser and Olivia Bell respectively.
Meanwhile, Taj Nehar was sent out on a golden duck on a run out. Meanwhile, Nigar Sultana tried to make a solid stand but was sent out for 18 runs by Saskia Horley.
Horley secured three consecutive wickets in the middle and low order helping Scotland to restrict Bangladesh for 119 runs.
With a target of 120, Scotland started their innings where Saskia Horley was sent out for 8 runs by Fahima Khatun.
Meanwhile, captain Kathryn Bryce scored 11 runs before being bowled out by Marufa Akter.
