The Rajasthan Royals Bowler Avesh Khan has been impressive as he bagged two wickets during the IPL 2024 match against Punjab Kings on May 15 at Barsapara Stadium.
Avesh Khan has bagged 11 wickets in 13 matches he played so far in the campaign with an economy of 9.93. He played a crucial role in the match bagging two big wickets in the match.
Rajasthan has qualified for playoffs after Delhi Capitals won the match against Lucknow Super Giants on May 14. Rajasthan is currently playing their 13th match of the campaign.

Coming to the match, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tom Kohler-Cadmore opened the innings where Jaiswal was sent out for four runs while Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored 18 runs. Sam Curran dismissed Jaiswal while Sanju Samson scored 18 runs on 15 deliveries. With the dismissal of Tom Kohler for 18 runs, Rajasthan Royals lost three wickets for 42 runs.
Riyan Parag helped the side to recover from the dismissals. Ravichandran Ashwin joined Parag as he scored 28 runs before being sent out to the dugout by Arshdeep Singh on the last ball of the 13th over.
Dhruv Jurel was sent back to the dugout for a golden duck by Sam Curran while Chahar and Harshal Patel dismissed Rovman Powell and Donovan Ferreira for single-digit scores.
With Trent Boult’s 12 runs, Rajasthan Scored 144 runs in the match by the end of 20 overs. With a target of 145 runs, Prabhsimran Singh and Jonny Bairstow opened the innings where the former was sent out for six runs by Trent Boult in the fourth ball of the first over.
Avesh Khan dismissed Rilee Rossouw and Shashank Singh for 22 and 0 in the fifth over of the match. By the end of powerplay, Punjab Kings scored 39 runs losing 3 wickets of the Match.
Chahal bagged the wicket of Jonny Bairstow for 14 runs. In the pursuit of reviving the side from early dismissals, Sam Curran smashed 50+ scores while Jitesh Sharma was dismissed by Chahal for 22 runs.
Sam Curran smashed 63* runs in 41 deliveries and with Ashutosh Sharma‘s 17* runs, Punjab Kings won the match by 5 wickets in the 19th over.
