Australia is the table toppers with two victories in the Group A Points table and needed one victory to set foot on the Semifinals. Meanwhile, Pakistan are in a must-win game if they need to live in contention for the semi-final spot.
Australia women won the toss and opted to bowl first. While speaking at the toss, Alyssa Healy said, “We’ll have a bowl. It’s a fresh wicket, want to get the most of the conditions. Got to see what unfolds later. We have watched the games, this wicket has some spin. One change for us. We are going heavy with the ball tonight.”
Muneeba Ali said, “Looking forward to this match. It’s sad news, but these things are not under our control. We will miss her (Fatima Sana.) We have a couple of changes. We need to play our A game and put up a good score.”
