Travis Head reached his 17th test fifty with seven boundaries. Despite surviving an lbw review early, he showed resilience and composure offering a glimmer of hope for the hosts.

India’s second innings has been impressive as the visitors scored a total of 487 after Yashasvi Jaiswal‘s 161 and Kohli’s 100*. After declaring on day 03, leaving Australia in a tough spot.
Australia lost three wickets for 12 runs by the end of day 03. After Bumrah picked Nathan McSweeney’s wicket, Siraj picked Usman Khawaja and Cummins’s wicket on the previous day.
Resuming the match on day 04, the hosts continued to lose wickets, but Head and Mitchell Marsh tried to forge a solid partnership for 6th wicket.
But Bumrah picked the wicket of Travis Head for 89 runs and left the hosts stumbled. Australia will have to more than 300 runs at Perth Stadium.
Earlier in the match, India scored 150 runs while the hosts was bowled out for 104 runs. India will be looking for a early win to secure a major boost in the WTC points table.
