    Australia Bowled Out for 337 on Day 02 at Adelaide

    After posting 337 runs in their first innings of the Pink-ball test, Australia secured a 157-run lead with Travis Head’s century on day 02 of the second test.

    A solid knock from Marnus Labuschagne and Head has given a solid lead for Australia. Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney started the innings with 13 and 39 runs before being dismissed by Bumrah.

    Marnus Labuschagne secured 64 runs while Head joined him for fireworks and went on to smash 140 runs.

    Meanwhile, Indian bowlers struggled to take Head. Eventually Siraj picked his wicket and Australian line up couldn’t withstand the bowling attack.

    Siraj went on to dismiss Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc in Australia’s first innings. With Bumrah and Siraj picking four wickets, Nitish Reddy and Harshit Rana went for one wicket each.

    Batting first, India got bowled out for 180 runs with Mitchell Starc picking 6 wickets.

    After Mitchell Starc dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal for a golden duck, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill tried to stabilize the innings with a partnership of 69 runs.

    But after the dismissal of KL Rahul, India lost back-to-back wickets with Virat Kohli dismissed by Mitchell Starc and Shubman Gill dismissed by Boland for 31 runs.

    Meanwhile Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin secured 21 and 22 runs before being dismissed by Cummins and Starc.

    Mitchell Starc went on to dismiss Harshit Rana for a duck leaving Nitish reddy and Bumrah at the crease.

    Nitish Reddy was the highest run scorer for India picking up 42 runs. Australia has a dominant position with 86 runs for 1 wicket by the end of day 01 at Adelaide Oval.
