    Amaan to lead India in ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024

    BCCI have named Mohammad Amaan as the captain of the India squad for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024 which is set to begin on 29 November 2024.

    The Junior Selection Committee has made a surprise inclusion by including a Thirteen-year-old sensation from Bihar, Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

    Suryavanshi who is currently playing for Bihar in their Ranji Trophy match against Punjab, recently became the youngest batter ever to score an international century during the ‘Youth’ Tests against Australia Under-19.

    The Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2024 will kick start on November 29 in Dubai with the first match between Bangladesh U19 and Afghanistan U19. The entire tournament will be played across two venues in UAE – ICC Academy Ground, Dubai and Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.

    This will be the 11th edition of the U-19 Asia Cup 2024, with the first being played in Bangladesh in 1989. However, the tournament’s last three editions have all been played in the UAE.

    Ahead of the tournament, India U19 will take on Bangladesh U19 in a practice match on 26th November, in Sharjah.
