The Australia Women’s captain Alyssa Healy was displeased on a pitch invader and tackled him aggressively during a WPL 2024 clash.

UP Warriorz was set to play in the 6th match of the WPL 2024 schedule against Mumbai Indians where the former won the match by seven wickets.
During Mumbai Indians innings, a spectator ran into the stadium resulting in a delay. While Healy was busy with her wicket-keeping duties, she tried to grab the invader.
Before security could take action, Healy moved to tackle the invader with her grip. She stopped the invader from advancing further.
However, the fan’s speed slowed, and the security took him away. The 33-year-old had joined Andrew Symonds and Sam Kerr who confronted the invader.
Winning the toss, UP Warriorz chose to bowl, where Hayley and Yastika Bhatia opened for Mumbai. Hayley was the only fifty-scorer for Mumbai. She smashed 55 runs on 47 deliveries before being dismissed by Rajeshwari Gayakwad.
Yastika scored 26 runs while Amelia Kerr scored 23 runs in the match. By the end of 20 overs, Mumbai scored 161 runs losing 6 wickets.
On the other hand, Kiran Navgire was the only scorer for UP Warriorz. She was dismissed by Amelia Kerr after scoring 57 runs on 31 deliveries.
Alyssa Healy and Grace Harris scored 33 and 38 runs respectively. With Deepti Sharma’s 27* runs, UP Warriorz scored 163 runs losing 3 wickets on the 17th over.
Issy Wong was the leading wicket-taker of the match with two dismissals in the match. Currently, UP Warriorz stands fourth in the points table with one victory in three matches they played.
Grace Harris stands second in the list of most run scorers of the tournament. UP Warriorz will be playing their next match against Gujarat Giants on March 01 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
