Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has announced his retirement from International cricket.
The left-hander who announced his retirement in November 2023 has turned down the decision to play in the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA, but Pakistan failed to go beyond the group stage.
In two games he played, Wasim scored 19 runs from the three games and picked up three wickets at an economy rate of four. The match against Ireland in Lauderhill.
The 35 year old said that he was priviledged after being a chance to don the national colours.
Wasim has claimed no.1 spot in T20I bowler rankings in 2017, aslo talked about his desire to continue play domestic and franchise cricket around the globe.
“To all fans and supporters: After much thought and reflection, I have decided to retire from international cricket.”

Imad Wasim made his debut for Pakistan in 2015 and played a crucial role for him. In 55 ODIs, Wasim scored 986 runs and picking 44 wickets. In 75 T20Is, he also mustered 554 runs and also picked 73 wickets. He didn’t make his debut for the team in the longest format of the game.
