SA vs IND Probable 11: Aiden Makram-led South Africa is scheduled to play in the finals of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Rohit Sharma-led India on June 29 at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
SA vs IND Probable 11
After facing many formidable opponents and challenges in the US and Caribbean, India and South Africa are set to face each other in the finals of the ICC tournament. India will be looking for their second title after 2007 after the upcoming clash against South Africa in the finals at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
On the other hand, South Africa has qualified for the finals in the T20 World Cup for the first time after defeating Afghanistan in the semi-finals of the ongoing tournament. Hence, the encounter will feature a lot of nail-biting excitement as both teams remain unbeaten in the 2024 edition of the tournament so far.
“I think what’s really important and I think what we’ve done really well as a group, I think in this whole tournament, is we have shown the ability to adapt, to recognize what is a good score. We played very differently in New York, than we played at St. Lucia.”
“Then we played even in Barbados in the first game and I thought that the wicket was quite slow. But again, for a final, we are not really sure what we are going to come up against. And I’m just hoping that whatever we come up against, we will have the ability to recognize it and to be able to play accordingly, as we’ve done in the last three games,” said Rahul Dravid at the pre-match conference.
SA vs IND Pitch Report
Barbados is the typical win-the-toss and bat-first surface as seen during the India vs Afghanistan game. There will be early movement for the bowlers but the batters will enjoy the first half of the game. The bowling side will find much better success in the second when the ball starts to do something off the pitch making it difficult for the batters.
