You play the game to be in those moments. Silky and I were like – let’s just enjoy this and do our best. That was one of the better ones we’ve had. Was mishitting them well in the gaps. Nice to get a few out of the middle. Credit to Greeny who bowled a pretty good over, made us wait right to the last ball where he didn’t execute perfectly.
Was just trying to stay really still. Watch and react, and trust my hands to get the job done. No rocket launcher, just a really nice bat. Was just trying to stand still and swing hard. Nice to connect a few. Was a bit disappointed with my first two overs. Nice to bounce back.
The Surge is something we have identified as an area to improve on. To pick up those two wickets in the Surge was nice. Always is (a big game). Spoken a lot about the rivalry, and it means more than every other game. Nice to be able to win. Love beating them here on their turf.
