    MPL 2023 Schedule, Squad – Maharashtra Premier League

    MPL 2023 Schedule, Squad: The inaugural edition of the Maharashtra Premier League is scheduled to kick start on June 15 with the final game on June 29. Six teams will feature in the 2023 edition where 19 matches will be played including two qualifiers, one eliminator and a final.

    Maharashtra Premier League 2023 will follow a round-robin format and then move forward to the knockout stages of the tournament as of the IPL format.

    MPL 2023 Schedule

    MPL 2023 Schedule: All 19 matches will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. The afternoon games will begin at 2 PM while the evening games will begin at 8 PM local time.

    MPL 2023 Teams

    Earlier, MCA announced that the franchise rights for six teams were collectively sold for INR 57.8 Cr for the period of 3 years through a close bidding process. A report states that from the next edition, MPL will have 8 teams and women’s MPL will be organised simultaneously with men’s MPL.

    MPL 2023 Squads

    MPL 2023 Squad: In the players’ auction Pune franchise(Puneri Bappa) brought Ruturaj Gaikwad for the highest amount of INR 14 crores.

    Rahul Tripathi who plays for SRH in IPL is brought by Nashik based side(Eagle Nashik Titans) while Kolhapur based team(Kolhapur Tuskers) brought Kedar Jadhav for INR 11 crores, Sambhajinagar based team brought Rajvardhan Hangargekar for 8.7 crores.
