Ambati Rayudu Withdraws from MLC 2023: Ambati Rayudu was named in the Texas Super Kings Squad for the MLC 2023 season. According to the MLC 2023 schedule, the first match of the season will be played between Texas Super Kings and LA Knight Riders on July 13 in Grand Prairie Stadium.
While Rayudu was expected to shine in Yellow Jersey, Texas Super Kings announced that Rayudu will not be part of the family in the inaugural edition.
“Ambati Rayudu will not be available to participate in the first season of the MLC with Texas Super Kings due to personal reasons,” Texas Super Kings said in a statement.

Though the officials claim that Rayudu withdraws owing to personal reasons, the curiosity to know the real reason behind the “Ambati Rayudu Withdraws from MLC 2023” statement has started to move in an uptrend.
According to a report, this comes after the BCCI’s plan to require retired players to wait a year before taking part in international T20 leagues. The suggestion, which was presented at yesterday’s Apex Council meeting in Mumbai, will be approved at the BCCI AGM in September.
In May, Rayudu announced his retirement ahead of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fifth IPL title triumph. At the time, Rayudu, who had previously retired only to make a comeback, had promised “no U-turn”.
Two weeks later, he was announced as a signing for the Texas team in the MLC 2023, which is also managed by N Srinivasan’s India Cements, which also owns the Chennai Super Kings. The franchise is co-owned by the Chennai Super Kings, Ross Perot Jr., and Anurag Jain.
As per MLC 2023 Texas Super Kings’ schedule, the Faf du Plessis-led team will play their first match against LA Knight Riders on July 13 in Grand Prairie Stadium. CSK’s current and former star players like Faf du Plessis, Devon Conway, Mitchell Santner, and Dwayne Bravo will be a part of the Texas Super Kings’ MLC 2023 squad.
