After ending up in 3rd position on the LPL 2023 Points Table, B-Love Kandy beats Jaffna Kings in Eliminator and beats Galle Titans in Qualifier 2 to qualify for the grand FINAL game scheduled to play against Dambulla Aura on August 20.

I tried to do my best be it with the bat or with the ball. Our head coach asked me to bat higher. I was ready to do that. I also wanted to do something with the bat.
No (pressure), whenever I play, I try to do my best whether I am captaining or not. I was the Player of the Tournament in the first edition as well. This is more pleasing as I contributed with the bat”.
“We should thank our support staff and the foreign players. After the first two losses, we bounced back well in Kandy. We won three out of three in Kandy. We came here and played consistently. We started playing good cricket in Kandy. Our batters took responsibility and our bowlers did a good job”, he added.
