    The West Bengal-born Indian cricketer remains as the Youngest Player to Debut in IPL History till date. Prayas Ray Barman made his IPL debut in 2019 for Royal Challengers Bangalore at the age of just 16 years and 157 days against SRH.

    He was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) for 1.5 crores. Prayas Ray Barman scored 19 runs in the single match he played in that season. As a Leg breaker, he bowled 4 overs and gave 56 runs without picking a wicket.

    Mujeeb Ur Rahman

    The Afghan-born Mujeeb Ur Rahman becomes the first man to play international cricket who was born in the 21st century which is just two months after his international debut, at the age of 16 years and 325 days.

    Mujeeb Ur Rahman was bought by the Kings XI Punjab in the 2018 IPL auction and made his debut on 8 April 2018, at the age of 17 years and 11 days. With his debut, he becomes the youngest cricketer to play in the Indian Premier League at that time.

    Riyan Parag

    The Assam-born cricketer was picked by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2019 auction for his base price of INR 20 Lakhs. Riyan Parag made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 152 days against Chennai Super Kings on Apr 11, 2019.

    He became the youngest cricketer to score a fifty in the history of the Indian Premier League. He achieved the feat at the age of 17 years and 175 days breaking the previous record of 18 years and 169 days, jointly held by Sanju Samson and Prithvi Shaw.

    He was released by Rajasthan ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction and was re-bought by the Rajasthan Royals in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.

    Sarfaraz Khan 

    Youngest Players to Debut in IPL History: Sarfaraz Khan made his IPL debut for the RCB in the year 2015 and become the youngest player to make an IPL debut then. He was only 17 years and 177 days old, to play an IPL match.

    And, in the following season, he become the only uncapped player to be retained by a franchise in the IPL. Currently, he is the fourth-youngest player to make a debut in the history of IPL. Notably, Sarfaraz represented India in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2014 and 2016.

    He came into the limelight when he broke the 45-year-old record of Sachin Tendulkar by scoring 439 off 421 balls in a Harris Shield game. It is worth mentioning that it was his maiden Harris Shield game in 2009 when he was just 12 years old.

    Abhishek Sharma

    Youngest Players to Debut in IPL History: Abhishek Sharma made his IPL debut for Delhi Capitals at the age of 17 years 251 days against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 12, 2018.

    In IPL 2018 auction, Abhishek Sharma was brought by Delhi Daredevils(now Delhi Capitals) for INR 55 lakhs. In his debut match, he scored unbeaten 46 runs off just 19 balls which includes 4 sixes and 3 boundaries. In IPL 2022 mega auction, Abhishek Sharma was brought by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
