Punjab Kings skipper KL Rahul has been diagnosed with acute appendicitis after being rushed to hospital following complaints of severe abdominal pain at the Punjab Kings’ team hotel in Ahmedabad.
KL Rahul Admitted to Hospital
Rahul was off the field for a part of PBKS’ game against Royal Challengers Bangalore with Chris Gayle leading the side in his absence.
“KL Rahul complained of severe abdomen pain last night and after not responding to medication, he was taken to the emergency room for further tests which revealed that he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis,” the team said in a statement.
