Players Sold At Base Price in IPL 2023 Auction: A total of 80 players were brought by 10 teams from a pool of 405 players during the IPL 2023 Auction on December 23 in Kochi.

Among those 80 players, 51 players are Indians and the remaining 29 were overseas players. Ahead of the Auction, players have to register their names at a base price between INR 20 Lakhs to INR 2 crores.

Among the registered players, 21 Players have listed their names under the highest base price of INR 2 crores, all from overseas. 10 players have registered their names under INR 1.5 crore category while 24 players have registered their names under INR 1 crore price category.

Players Sold At Base Price in IPL 2023 Auction: Many players will get a massive price jump from their base price during the bidding war while many players ended up selling at their base price.

IPL 2023 Auction ended up as one of the most record-making auctions after Sam Curran becomes the most expensive player in IPL history after PBKS spent a whooping INR 18.50 crore for him. Apart from this, a total of 10 players have sold over INR 5+ crore during the auction.

While players have massive price jumps from their base price there are still players who sold at their base price. This list includes many big international names like Kane Williamson, Joe Root, and Shakib Al Hasan.

Some players even went unsold in the auction including Sandeep Sharma who dismissed Virat Kohli 7 times in IPL. The unsold players’ list also includes Nabi, van der Dussen and many others.
