MI Next Match: The IPL 2025 is expected to be played in its regular March-May window in 2025. BCCI planned to host the IPL 2025 mega auction on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Ahead of the auction, BCCI made several announcements including the change in IPL 2025 retention rules, usage of RTMs and particularly an increase in the purse value.
Though this year’s auction was planned to be hosted outside India, fans can still enjoy the IPL 2025 auction live streaming from their home.

IPL 2025 MI Squad
According to the new IPL 2025 retention rules released by BCCI, each team can retain six players from their existing squad, either via retention or by using the Right to Match (RTM) option.
As per the IPL rules, each franchise can have 25 players in their squad, out of which a maximum of 8 can be foreign players. In Playing 11, each team can have a maximum of 4 overseas players in the mix.
