LSG Captain in IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants is one of the two teams to make their debut in the 2022 season of the tournament. Unlike their co-debutant Gujarat Titans, the Lucknow-based franchise is yet to lay its hands on the IPL trophy.

IPL 2025 Mega Auction
BCCI planned to host the IPL 2025 mega auction on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Ahead of the auction, all teams have revealed their retained players list. The two-day Mega Auction will commence at 12:30 PM local time on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
According to the new IPL 2025 retention rules released by BCCI, each team can retain six players from their existing squad, either via retention or by using the Right to Match (RTM) option.
Though this year’s auction was planned to be hosted outside India, fans can still enjoy the IPL 2025 auction live streaming from their home.
