The Indian wk-batter KL Rahul has been roped in by Delhi Capitals for a price of INR 14 crore during the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.
The Delhi Capitals was pushed to the price after KKR and CSK entered the bidding war and eventually completed the deal making KL Rahul as the second buy for the franchise.
KL Rahul has been part of the LSG set up since 2022 and captaining the side for the last three seasons. The 32 year old had represented Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings.

KL Rahul has scored 4683 runs in 132 matches in the IPL. The right handed batter has been experienced one in the league and as well as international scene, and has been also been impressive with his new role as opener in the first test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
He scored 520 matches in 14 matches at an average of 37.14 with a strike rate of 136.13. His T20 career stats reflect his statues as one of the most consistent and explosive batsmen in the format.
