KKR vs DC Probable Playing 11:Â In the pursuit of advancing to the semi-finals, Kolkata has registered five victories out of 8 matches they played and currently has the highest Net Run Rate.
On the other hand, despite having a poor start in the campaign, Delhi has secured 5 victories out of 10 matches in the tournament and looking forward to defeating KKR on home-away ground.
Both sides’ batting lineup has been filled with star-studded players which will result in a high-score encounter between these teams.
During the previous encounter in the IPL 2024 campaign, KKR won the match after securing victory by 106 runs difference. After scoring 272/7, Kolkata bundled Delhi for 166 runs.
KKR has a setback with the unavailability of Mitchell Starc and it remains unclear whether he will be available for the Delhi clash while DC also has injury concerns with David Warner and Ishant Sharma are unlikely to be available for the upcoming match.
“Fraser-McGurk has been amazing since the first day and this is what you want from a younger player, he’s getting better and better with each game. The chances (of making it to the playoffs) are increasing day by day, but we are taking it one game at a time,” said Rishabh Pant.
“We have to sum up the conditions and come up with better ideas. It is brilliant to see him Narine go out there and strike the ball, hopefully, he keeps continuing with such performances,” said Shreyas Iyer.
Currently, KKR has secured second position with 10 points while DC has secured 6th position with 10 points in the IPL 2024 points table.
