Jason Holder Sold To RR in IPL 2023 Auction
Rajasthan Royals won the inaugural IPL edition but have failed to win any title since then. They entered the IPL 2022 final after a gap of 14 years but lost to newbies Gujarat Titans. They had entered the mini-auction with a remaining purse amount of 13.2 crores.
After being re-signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad, Holder picked up 30 wickets in 15 matches across two seasons, while also contributing 151 runs with the bat. In the 2022 season, LSG bagged the service of Jason Holder for INR 8.75 crores where he played 12 matches and bagged 14 wickets and scored 58 runs.
LGS released Holder ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction while he registered his name at a base price of INR 2 crore. CSK and RR start the bidding war while no other teams showed interest in the West Indies all-rounder, Rajasthan Royals bagged the service for INR 5.75 crore.

Height for Holder is just an added advantage in bowling, while in batting, he can play handy knocks for his side. Holder so far played 38 matches in IPL and scored 247 runs and bagged 49 wickets with the best of 4/52.
