GT vs PBKS Probable Playing 11: After securing two victories out of three matches, Gujarat Titans will be hosting Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024 match. Gujarat won the match against Mumbai by 62 runs difference.
They lost the match against Chennai Super Kings but emerged as winners in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets. On the other hand, Punjab won only one out of the three matches they played in the IPL 2024 campaign.
They won the match against Delhi Capitals but suffered defeat in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.
“It is all about preparation and it is up to the team’s needs. The team suggests your role. Earlier I used to bowl with the new ball. Since last year, I have been asked to bowl with the old ball. I keep searching for options on how I can contribute to the team’s success. Whether I concede 70 or take 4/40, it all depends on preparation,” said Mohit Sharma.
“Not really concerned (about bowlers leaking runs). They are top-class players, whether it is Harshal Patel or Rahul Chahar. They have gone through a lot of situations where they have been hit. They will come back very strongly.” said Trevor Gonsalves.
Currently, Gujarat Titans secured the fifth position while Punjab Kings stands in the 7th position of the IPL 2024 points table.
