RR retained 3 of its players for INR 28 crores and adds 21 players in the recently concluded 2 days IPL auction.
Earlier to the IPL 2022 Auction all 8 existing teams announced their retained players list and released the remaining players to the auction pool from which the 2 new IPL teams are allowed to draft a maximum of 3 players each.
According to which, Lucknow Super Giants ropes KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and uncapped player Ravi Bishnoi. Where Gujarat Titans picked Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill as their drafted players.

Rajasthan Royals spends INR 10 crores to rope Indian bowler Prasidh Krishna in the 2022 auction. RR didn’t cross the INR 10 crores mark in the IPL 2022 auction to rope a player.

Prasidh Krishna
The right-arm fast bowler Prasidh Krishna was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the 2018 IPL season as a replacement for injured Kamlesh Nagarkoti. On 6 May 2018, he made his IPL debut against Mumbai Indians replacing injured Shivam Mavi.
In the 2022 Indian Premier League Mega auction, Prasidh Krishna was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for INR 10 crores.

Shimron Hetmyer
In December 2018, he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League. He was released by the Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the 2020 IPL auction.
In the 2020 IPL auction, he was bought by the Delhi Capitals ahead of the 2020 Indian Premier League. In the 2022 IPL Auction, Hetmyer was bought by the Rajasthan Royals.

Trent Boult
In 2015, Boult was New Zealand’s leading wicket-taker at the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. Following the tournament, Boult received a Maiden call-up into the Indian Premier League by the Sunrisers Hyderabad and he was purchased for $600,000.
In February 2017, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders team for the 2017 Indian Premier League for 5 crores. He also played for Delhi Capitals from 2018 to 2019 in the IPL.
Boult was traded by Delhi to the Mumbai Indians prior to the thirteenth season of the IPL. He played a critical role in Mumbai winning the 2020 IPL title. He was the man of the match in the final and was also named the player of the season.
Boult claimed 25 wickets in that edition of the IPL and was the third-highest wicket-taker after Kagiso Rabada and Jasprit Bumrah. He also bowled 4 maiden overs, the most by any player in a single season of IPL.
His best bowling figures in the IPL are 4/18 against CSK on 23 October 2020. In the 2022 IPL auction, Boult was bought by the Rajasthan Royals
