Wanindu Hasaranga
Sri Lankan all-rounder, Wanindu Hasaranga comes in as a replacement for Adam Zampa in the remainder of IPL 2021. Wanindu was drafted straight into the senior men’s side from Sri Lanka’s U-19 team.
An explosive middle-order batsman, Wanindu is also useful with his leggies. He had a dream start to his international career when he claimed a hat-trick in his very first outing in an ODI in June 2017.

Harshal Patel
Harshal Patel makes his return to RCB after being traded in from the Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2021. The Haryana-born pacer made his debut IPL appearance in 2012.
After spending the majority of his IPL career at Royal Challengers Bangalore, Patel, who moved to Delhi in 2018, put in some impressive all-round performances during the domestic season of 2019-20, and was one of the few players to be retained by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2020.
Notably, Harshal Patel is the winner of the IPL 2021 Purple Cap where he scalped 32 wickets in 15 matches and tied the record of CSK bowler Dwayne Bravo of taking the most wicket in a single IPL edition.
