CSK vs SRH Probable Playing 11: With Ajinkya Rahane’s niggle had obstructed his batting in the last few matches, he’s expected to be fit for the match against SRH.
After securing back-to-back defeats against Lucknow Super Giants, Chennai is looking for a victory to get back in the race for playoffs. CSK has secured four victories out of 8 matches they played in the tournament so far.
On the other hand, SRH has been the behemoth of the ongoing tournament smashing three 250+ scores. They secured 5 victories in 8 matches so far. Previously, they defeated CSK by 6 wickets difference.
“The problem with spinners in India who are playing at the moment is most of the spinners are not spinning the ball. That is the main criterion because they are bowling a little quicker, so no deviation.”
“If you see in practice, batsmen are used to throw-downs and power-hitting, So they are now used to it if the ball is coming straight at 85-90 mph, and it comes straight their muscle memory is already practiced to it.”
“If it deviates, the brain does not know how to react, so that’s why spinners must learn how to spin the ball then they have a better chance,” said Muttiah Muralitharan.
Currently, SRH secured third position while CSK secured 6th position of the IPL 2024 points table.
