FAns starts to celebrate the CSK’s victory even before the match ends. But unfortunately, CSK fans can’t get the excitement in their home town Chennai. Usually, players will return to their franchise’s hometown to celebrate the winning with the fans.
But due to MS Dhoni’s unavailability, CSK postponed the celebration at that moment. As MS Dhoni has been appointed as mentor for team India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 CSK took this heartbreaking decision.

Though it took more than a month to stage the winning celebration, the CSK team management plans to organize the event as greatest ever before.
Team management made a huge announcement that the CSK will celebrate the event in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin.
The India Cements’ vice-chairman and Managing Director N Srinivasan met Stalin at the Secretariat here on Tuesday and handed over an invitation for the event. After receiving the trophy following a ritual at the Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati on October 18, Srinivasan had said Dhoni will “share the trophy” with Stalin.
At the event at Kalaivanar Arangam on Saturday, Stalin will meet Dhoni and other team members and felicitate them. Soon after CSK’s victory in the IPL last month, Stalin had taken to Twitter to congratulate the team.
CSK started the IPL 2021 campaign pretty good and were aiming to finish at the top of the points table but were unable to do that after three consecutive defeats in the latter half of the group stage. However, they finished 2nd in the points table to secure a spot in Qualifier 1.
Talking about the performance of the team in the group stage, Chennai Super Kings won 9 out of 14 games and had 18 points in their bag with a net run rate of +0.455.
