    IPL 2025 DC Head Coach: Delhi Capitals is one of the eight IPL teams to make their debut in the inaugural season. The Delhi-based franchise is also one of the few IPL teams to remain trophy less since their maiden appearance.

    IPL 2025 DC Head Coach

    Delhi Capitals are yet to announce their head coach for the IPL 2025 season. Former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting who was the head coach of the Delhi Capitals for the past seven years parted ways with the franchise after the 2024 season.

    Under his tutelage, DC reached the final of the IPL in 2020 but lost to MI in the United Arab Emirates.

    Delhi Capitals appointed former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani as their head coach for the IPL 2025 season. Badani has worked with Brian Lara in Sunrisers Hyderabad which will be his first assignment as head coach of the IPL team.

    The former Tamil Nadu-based cricketer played four tests and 40 ODIs between 2001 and 2004 and also scored an ODI century against Australia during the 2001 bilateral series.

    IPL 2025 DC Bowling Coach

    Former Indian Cricketer Munaf Patel is the bowling coach of Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2025 season. Munaf Patel was a member of the Indian squad that won the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2011 under MS Dhoni’s captaincy.

    Patel played a key role in India’s famous 1-run victory against South Africa in January 2011. Munaf was awarded the Man of the Match performance for his 4/29 off nine overs, taking the final wicket of Wayne Parnell to lead India to a 1-run victory. The victory also marked India’s first against South Africa in South Africa since 2003.
