IPL 2023 RR Squad: Founded in 2008, Rajasthan Royals won their maiden title in their first appearance by beating Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2008 final match in Mumbai. The team won the inaugural edition of the IPL under the captaincy of Shane Warne.

IPL 2023 Auction Rules
As BCCI decides to host IPL 2023 mini-auction, franchises have the advantage of retaining the majority of their players compared to the IPL 2022 mega auction.
- No franchise will be allowed to buy a player beyond their purse balance.
- Each team has to spend at least 75% of their total amount.
- The option of the Right to Match (RTM) card will not be available to franchise.
- The number of players in each team should not exceed 25 while each squad should have a minimum of 18 players.
- Each franchise can have a maximum of 25 Indian players and a minimum of 17 Indian players. Similarly, each franchise can have a maximum of 8 international players in the squad but there’s no capping on the lower limit.
