We’re going to bowl. There is a potential dew factor, and we’ll look to chase it in the end. We saw improvement in the second match and then in the third, and hopefully we can improve further over here. We have to be adaptable, playing at the different grounds and we need to adjust. Same XI.

We would have bowled as well because of the dew. We are playing for the first time over here. It’s always good to win, but for us processes are more important. We got the results because we followed our plans. We need to show that we are out there to fight.
Tewatia is right up there right now. It shows a lot of courage and character to do the same things day in and day out. Very happy for him and for the team as well. Same team.

Gujarat Titans Batting
Wade and Shubman Gill opens the batting attack while Bhuvneshwar opens the bowling attack.
Bhuvneshwar in the third over dismissed Gill for 7 runs and draws the first blood. While T Natarajan in the 6th over dismissed Sai Sudharsan for 11 runs where GT scored 51 runs for 2 wickets loss.
Though wickets fell on one side, Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya stands tall and made a steady inning where Abhinav Manohar and Hardik made a 50 runs partnership. Interestingly, Abhinav got three lives in the form of catch drops before Tripathi took a sharp catch at the boundary line to dismiss Abhinav for 35 runs.

With Hardik Pandya’s unbeaten steady half-century Gujarat Titans scored 162 runs for 7 wickets loss.

Abhishek Sharma and Williamson gets into the crease to lead SRH while Shami opens the bowling attack.
SRH made a steady inning and builds a partnership which leads SRH to score 64 runs for their first wicket. Rashid Khan in the 9th over dismissed Abhishek Sharma for 42 runs and breaks the partnership.
Kane Williamson smashed the captain’s knock by scoring 57 runs off 46 deliveries and placed SRH in the safe zone while chasing. With Pooran’s 18 balls 34 runs, SRH registered their second victory of the season by beating Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets.

It was I thought a very good game of cricket. Probably it was a par total. They had a strong bowling attack. We wanted to get partnerships and we got that. The guys have been clear about the roles. There are a number of challenges.
The execution was largely good. It was tough to hit through the line. Nice to get some partnerships and get across the line. Might just be cramps for Rahul and hopefully he can recover quickly. Washington as well.
Hopefully he can recover quickly as well. It is just about guys going out there and trying to perform for the team. It was a nice improved performance today.
