IPL 2022 Withdraw Players List
Jason Roy
New franchise Gujarat Titans had bought the batter for his base price of Rs 2 crore at the IPL 2022 Mega auction.
REASON: The reason for his unavailability is the extended bio-bubble stay, which would have kept him away from his family, which includes his newborn baby, for more than two months.
REPLACEMENT PLAYER: Rahmanullah Gurbaz
The Afghan player Rahmanullah Gurbaz have a 150-plus career T20 strike rate as an opener is also a handy keeper which makes him a multi-utility player.
The 20-year-old has so far amassed 531 runs in 18 T20I appearances for Afghanistan, averaging 29.5 including two half-centuries with his highest individual score being 79. The youngster had recently represented Islamabad United in PSL 2022, finishing with 139 runs from six games at an average of 27.80 and a strike rate of 180.51 with his best score being 46.

He played in seven matches for Islamabad United before pulling out due to bubble fatigue. He did, however, rejoin the team ahead of the playoffs stage.
REASON: Bio bubble fatigue

REASON: Hamstring injury
Replacement Player: Matheesha Pathirana
