We’re going to have a bowl. It is our first game here so we aren’t sure what the pitch is going to do. But it’s just the general trend, and hopefully there is dew later on which we can make use of.
Two wins out of three looks good. [Loud chants of RCB, RCB] Wow, what an atmosphere. Just one change: Maxwell, comes in for Rutherford. DK has been going really well. The clarity and the role that we have given him will hopefully give him consistency.

We would have bowled first as well. The nature of the pitch looks like it would get better and better as the match goes on. We just need to try and apply ourselves a little more than we have done so far in the tournament.
All games are big games. When you play your first game you try and get some momentum. A first win would be nice tonight. SKY is a quality player, he definitely strengthens our batting lineup.
We look forward to the same from him and the entire batting lineup. Two changes: Unadkat comes in place of Mills. Ramandeep comes in for Sams.

Mumbai Indians Batting
Ishan Kishan and Rohit gets into the crease to lead Mumbai Indians while Willey opens the bowling attack. While everyone expects an aggressive start from the Mumbai Indians, they turns down the expectations and made steady innings, and scored 49 runs for no wicket loss at the end of the powerplay.
But in the 7th over Harshal Patel dismissed Rohit Sharma for 26 runs and breaks the partnership. Soon Hasaranga in the 9th over dismissed Brevis for 8 runs.
Mumbai Indians faces a string collapse in the next over after they lost two of their key players. Akash Deep dismissed Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma in the 10th over while MI scored 62 runs for 4 wickets loss.
Mumbai’s middle-order player Pollard too turns the expectations down and is dismissed for a golden duck. With Suryakumar Yadav’s unbeaten 68 runs MI scored 151 runs for 6 wickets loss at the end of the 20 overs.
Royal Challengers Bangalore Batting
Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat open the innings while Basil Thampi opens the bowling attack on behalf of the Mumbai Indians.
The duo made a slow start in order to build a partnership and scored just 30 runs for no wicket loss at the end of the powerplay. Unadkat made the necessary break by dismissing Faf du Plessis for 16 runs while RCB scored 61 runs for 1 wicket loss at the end of the 10 overs.
Virat Kohli joins hands with Anuj and lead RCB. Anuj Rawat with his back-to-back impressive strikes registered his maiden IPL fifty and paved the way for RCB’s victory.
With a couple of boundaries from Maxwell, RCB registered their 3rd victory of the IPL 2022 by beating MI by 7 wickets.
