Hardik Pandya
Going to bowl first because I think dew might be a factor later. We had a couple of good games where things went our side. Lot of courage shown by the boys. Two forced changes. Vijay misses out, Varun as well. Two debutants – Sai Sudarshan and Darshan.
Mayank Agarwal
Would’ve liked to bowl first as well but it is what it is. Did well last game batting first. Guys are taking a lot of responsibility. Have a lot of leaders in our side, makes my job easier. Bairstow comes in for Rajapaksa.

Jonny Bairstow joins hands with Dhawan and tries to make a partnership but Ferguson in the 5th over dismissed Bairstow for 8 runs while PBKS scored 43 runs for 2 wickets loss at the end of the powerplay.
Livingstone continues to strike aggressively after Bairstow’s dismissal and leads PBKS scored 86 runs for 2 wickets loss. Jitesh Sharma and Liam Livingstone in the 13th over scored 21 runs and leads PBKS to score 124 runs for 3 wickets loss at the end of the 13 overs.
Darshan Nalkande in the very next over dismissed Jitesh Sharma and Odean Smith in back-to-back deliveries and loads pressure over the PBKS batting unit.
Rashid Khan for his counterpart dismissed Livingstone and Shahrukh Khan off the same over and ends his bowling innings with a total of 3 wickets under his name.
At the end of the 20 overs, PBKS scored 189 runs for 9 wickets loss.
Gujarat Titans Batting
Wade and Shubman Gill gets into the crease to lead Gujarat Titans to chase down the target of 190 runs while Vaibhav Arora opens the bowling attack.
The duo makes an impressive start but Rabada in the 4th over dismissed Wade for 6 runs and opens the wickets count. At the end of the 6 overs, Gujarat Titans scored 53 runs for 1 wicket loss.
With Gill’s steady innings GT scored 94 runs for 1 wicket loss at the end of the 10 overs. Though PBKS didn’t pick wickets they controlled the run flow by bowling strict deliveries. Gujarat Titans were at a point where they needed 71 runs off 42 deliveries with 9 wickets in hand.
While the Gujarat Titans were in need of big strikes, Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya were dismissed for 96 and 27 runs in the last two overs. While every Gujarat Titans fans lost their hope of winnings when they needed 12 runs off the last deliveries, Rahul Tewatia hits back-to-back sixes and leads Gujarat to register their third victory of the tournament in a memorable thrilling final over.
The Celebration from the camp when you know only two has hit 2 sixes of last 2 balls to win the game.

It is important to keep the scoreboard ticking. It is important to hit those gaps because this outfield is rapid. It is just about execution. It was just one of those days where I was hitting the ball well and finding the gaps as well.
I am hitting the ball hard, trust me. I am doing my level best to hit it hard, it might not look that way. As an opener, I have to bat through the innings, so that it is easier for the big-hitters to hit it in the end.
Instead of not thinking in the nets, I try and work and reduce my dot balls as much as possible. Not sure about the celebrations now, it takes us one hour to reach the hotel.
