The ongoing 4th Test match between India and England has been stopped for a while as the bails went missed and later found in Rishabh Pant‘s glove.
Bails struct in Rishabh Pant’s Glove
The incident happened on Day 1 where bails went missing after the 43rd over. Ben Stokes and Ollie Pope were batting at 47 and 17 respectively. It was the shot played by Ollie Pope at the short-mid wicket position.
Rahane picked up the ball and threw it to the wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant who was not able to collect it cleanly. Surprisingly, the bails stuck to Pant’s left gloves and started glowing. It seemed that it was not intentional from Pant and then the third umpire intervened and told the on-field umpire that bails are stuck in the wicket-keeper’s gloves.

India leads the four-match series 2-1 after their thumping win in the third Test that ended inside two days.
India ended the first day of the fourth and final test against England as the happier of the two sides. And it was yet another excellent bowling performance that saw them bundle out the visitors for just 205 runs. England had won the toss and chose to bat first. But their plans went up in smoke as they kept losing wickets regularly.
In reply, India got off to a horror start as Shubman Gill was trapped in front by James Anderson for a duck off his third ball. Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara then played with great caution to take India to stumps unscathed.
If India wins or draws the Test match, they will qualify for the World Test Championship (WTC) final. A win for England will see Australia take on New Zealand in the WTC final at Lords.
