ILT20 2023 Schedule: The first edition of the International League T20 is scheduled to play between January 13 to February 6, 2023. A total of 34 matches will be played among the 6 participating teams.
The tournament will follow the Double round-robin and Playoffs format. Franchises owners from the IPL, such as Knight Riders Group, Reliance Industries, GMR Group along with Lancer Capitals and Adani Group were announced as owners of the teams.
Three original IPL franchise owners (i.e. the owners of Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, and Delhi Capitals) also get the chance to sign up to four players from their current IPL squads.
Apart from the thirst for the inaugural event, The ICC confirms that the upcoming ILT20 will not receive List A status thus participating players’ stats in the tournament will not be registered in their formal T20 records or List A numbers.
