GT20 Canada 2023 Schedule: The GT20 Canada League 2023 is scheduled to start from July 20 with the final game on August 6. A total of 6 teams will feature in the GT20 Canada 2023 edition where a total of 22 matches will be played.

GT20 Canada 2023 will follow the Round-robin and playoffs format where the top 4 teams of the GT20 Canada 2023 points table will advance to playoff rounds. The top 2 teams will play the playoff 1 game while 3rd and 4th positioned teams will play the knockout match.

Global T20 Canada League History

The tournament’s first edition took place during June and July 2018 with six teams competing. While the second edition of the tournament was played during July and August 2019 in CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario

Originally, the third edition of the tournament was scheduled to play in 2020 but owing to the rise of COVID-19 the tournament was postponed. Later it was scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between 24 June to 11 July 2021 due to ongoing pandemic restrictions in Canada.

The 2021 tournament was ultimately cancelled “due to evolving concerns regarding COVID-19 and strict preventive measures taken by the Government of Malaysia to contain the spread of the pandemic”.

The third edition of the Global T20 Canada League is scheduled to play between July 20 to August 6, 2023.
