    After roughly three months of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, India opener Rohit Sharma had returned to preparing on Wednesday and the Mumbai-conceived cricketer likewise took to Instagram to give his fans a brief look at it. He shared a post-exercise picture where he is doused in sweat and is pouring water to chill.

    Rohit – who has not played cricket since the most recent five months after getting a calf injury in New Zealand – said he felt great to be back and furthermore felt like himself after quite a while.

    “Good to be back on the park getting some work done 🤩 felt like myself after a long time,” he captioned the picture.

    With the money rich Indian Premier League delayed uncertainly, cricketers are thinking that its difficult to stay fit staying inside. The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has clarified that it doesn’t expect to hold practice meetings for global cricketers during the COVID-19 alarm.

    A week back, speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Connected, Rohit spoke about the day he realised the importance of fans. “You never realize you’re playing for the Indian cricket team until you witness the support of the fans. I still remember when we won against Australia in the semi-final in 2007, our hotel was full of fans and they were all celebrating and dancing, I couldn’t believe my eyes as I hadn’t seen anything like this before,” he said.

    Mahela Jayawardena Praises Rohit Sharma’s Leadership Quality :

    Hailing Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma, former Sri Lanka cricketer Mahela Jayawardena said he is a natural leader and that is his quality.

    “He is an instinctive leader for sure. But at the same time Rohit gathers a lot of information as well, I think that’s his strength,” Jayawardene said on Sony Network for their show Pit Stop on their Instagram page.
