We’re going to bat. Just one change – Pattinson in for Coulter-Nile. Pitch is fairly good. Done pretty well batting first. A couple of venues dew has played a major factor. Here, not so much. Whatever you do you have to do it properly.

Mumbai Indians(MI) Batting
Ishan Kishan and de Kock get in to lead the MI. Jofra Archer opens the attack against MI. After six of the fourth delivery, de Kock dismissed off the fifth delivery after scoring 6 runs. After Archer makes a massive blow of the first over Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan make a steady partnership. That makes MI to score 59 runs for 1 wicket loss at the end of the powerplay.
RR is in need to break the partnership as MI reached 89 runs for the same one-wicket loss at the end of 10 overs. Kartik Tyagi makes the expected breakthrough by dismissing Ishan Kishan for 37 runs. Shreyas Gopa in his third over makes back-to-back wickets by dismissing Suryakumar Yadav and Pollard and lands MI in trouble.
With Hardik Pandya’s stunning final over Mumbai Indians scored 195 runs for 5 wicket loss. Hardik makes his 20 over half-century and makes an impressive comeback.
Rajasthan Royals(RR) Batting
Uthappa and Stokes get in to lead the RR. Pattinson with a stunning delivery dismissed Uthappa and makes the expected early wicket. Though Smith makes an impressive start by hitting six and a boundary failed to face Pattinson’s delivery. And return to Pavillion after scoring 11 runs.
Though RR loses a couple of wickets still they score the required run rate. Ben Stokes after struggling in the beginning makes his perfect half-century in 28 deliveries. Samson and Stokes make the much-expected partnership which boosts the RR score.
Mumbai Indians is in need to break the partnership but failed to do so. Stokes with an impressive century lead RR to bag their fifth victory. Rajasthan Royals(RR) beat Mumbai Indians(MI) by 8 wickets.

Sort of bittersweet to be honest – it took so long to get one for the team. I would have preferred to get this form two or three games before when we weren’t relying on other results to get us through to the qualifiers. It’s always nice to get back to form.
We needed a result from today, so – it’s a good victory. Training yesterday was the best I have had for the full time I have been here. Came into the game with a lot more confidence than the other games. Nice to spend some time out in the middle and finish the game off.
The ball was coming on nicely – be it short or full. It was hard when they dug it into the wicket. We got ourselves into a great position by putting the pressure back on to every bowler who came on.
They have obviously got Bumrah, which we managed to score probably a lot freer than we thought we’d be able to. It’s a bit difficult at the moment, things are a bit tough back at home, hopefully, this will give them some happiness.
