We are gonna bowl first. Don’t expect the wicket to change much and hopefully, there’s some dew. We want to qualify to the playoffs first and we still have to come out and play good cricket.
We have spoken about areas we need it to improve and we want to execute them in the middle tonight. Rohit is struggling with his left hamstring and hopefully, he will be fit soon and take the captaincy. The only change we have is Saurabh Tiwary comes in for Rohit.

The last game we played here the wicket played slightly better in the second innings, so not much of a problem. Once we landed here we had a 14-day break and before that, we had a seven day-camp in Chennai and once we’re here it became slightly difficult with the quarantine and there were a few phases where the game went out of our hands and the batting wasn’t also up to the mark, It happens in cricket and there are quite a few reasons for why we haven’t been up to the mark. Three changes for us. Kedar Jadhav, Shane Watson, Piyush Chawla out, and Jagadeesan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Tahir are in.

With Dhoni and Jadeja on strike, CSK expects a partnership that boosts the CSK’s score. Boult again with his perfect spell dismissed Jadeja and lands CSK in trouble. Sam Curran gets in and joins hands with MSD. Dhoni departures after the powerplay while scoring 16 runs and CSK loses 6 wickets while scoring 30 runs.
Sam Curran with a steady inning makes CSL to score 114 runs for 9 wickets loss. Curran made his first IPL 2020 fifty and also places CSK in a decent position.
Mumbai Indians(MI) Batting
With a target lower than 6 runs per over needed de Kock and Kishan gets in to lead MI. Chahar opens the attack against MI. CSK is in need to make back to back wickets and should restrict the MI batsman to hit big shots. With a powerful batting order, MI keeps calm in the situation.
CSK bowlers struggle to make their first breakthrough as MI scored 52 runs for no wicket loss at the end of the powerplay. In the mid of the 13th over MI scored the required run. Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 10 wickets. CSK’s final leg of entering playoff too scatters after MI’s clean wipe.

New franchise. It’s been enjoyable. Any cricket in this global situation is exciting. To get out there, been fun. Natural stuff, pitch the ball up and get it moving. Credit to Boom (Bumrah) and the other guys, to come and bowl as a unit.
Lucky to get the first over. If it’s going to swing it’s going to be in the first few balls. Wickets in my opinion are getting slower and drier. It comes down to accuracy.
